Motion Impressions is a Video Installation exploring spatial temporarily created by light and movement.
Long-exposure photography captures one element that conventional photography does not: time. Using long-duration shutter speed, the camera neglects the trivial and everyday details, to tell a story about light and change.
Through photography and code, this work gives form for to the invisible ‘light tunnels’ created by the movement of the New York Subway.
// Motion Impressions was presented at DKNY SOHO Storefront Gallery, as part of a collaboration between DKNY and The New Museum.
